Its purpose is to provide cooling and comfort to Thakur Ji during intense heat, as the natural fragrance of khas (vetiver) along with water sprinkling helps keep the surroundings cool.During extreme summer, especially in the months of Jyeshtha–Ashadha (June), water is regularly sprinkled. At this time, Thakur Ji is adorned with fragrances like khas, mogra, or kesar chandan ittar, which provide a soothing cooling effect.
